With an operatic repertoire that spans more than 90 works, Arthur Fagen has been a guest conductor at the Metropolitan Opera, Lyric Opera of Chicago, Staatsopers in Berlin, Vienna, Frankfurt, Munich, Stuttgart, the Theatre Capitole de Toulouse, and Bordeaux. He has recorded for BMG, Bayerischer Rundfunk, SFB and WDR Cologne and enjoys a long-term relationship with Naxos label
