José Miguel Pérez-Sierra
Music Director of the Teatro de la Zarzuela in Madrid, Artistic Director of the Royal Opera Festival in Kraków, and Principal Guest Conductor of the opera season at Asociación de la óper de A Coruña, the Madrid-born maestro is one of the most important conductors of his generation, and his work combines operatic and zarzuela repertoire with symphonic music.

With an operatic repertoire that spans more than 90 works, Arthur Fagen has been a guest conductor at the Metropolitan Opera, Lyric Opera of Chicago, the Staatsopers in Berlin, Vienna, Frankfurt, Munich, Stuttgart, the Theatre Capitole de Toulouse, and Bordeaux. He is the Music Director Emeritus of the Atlanta Opera, and has recorded for BMG, Bayerischer Rundfunk, SFB and WDR Cologne and enjoys a long-term relationship with Naxos label

Currently Assistant Conductor of the Orchestre Philharmonique royal de Liège in Belgium, her recent performances include Hänsel und Gretel and Madama Butterfly at the Teatr Wielki w łodzi, and Manon Lescaut at Prague’s National Theatre.

After successful performances this season of Madama Butterfly for Hamburg Staatsoper, future engagements include his return to the Royal Opera House Coven Garden in London, as well as his debut at the Wiener Staatspoper, concerts with the Japan Philharmonic, Orchestra Sinfonica Sicilian, La Boheme at the Aalto Theater Essen, Der Rosenkavalier at Staatsoper Stuttgart, and Verdi’s Falstaff in Reykjavik and the Garsington Opera Festival.
